I have stained a concrete floor with a QC stain product. I beleive i have put to much stain on and it is taking forever to dry. What can I do? can I mop it up with a dry mop or just seal right over it if it is still a little tacky?

Hi, if it’s possible you can dry the excess of product with a dry cloth or mop. When it’s too tacky to be absorbed by dry material, you should just seal right over, as you said.

Thanks for your interest in my website.

Hey, I moved into an apartment and there’s a strange yellow stain on the vinyl tile kitchen floor. In the light it looks like the tile surface is different somehow.

Also the spot is sticky and seems to come off on you if you touch it. I’ve tried steaming it and scraping it and bleaching and scrubbing. Please help.

For a sticky stain, you could try using a solvent like rubbing alcohol or a paint removal liquid. After applying the solvent, clean the remaining parts of the stain with strong dishwashing detergent.
