What is best cleaning solution to clean out bath?
Angelina asked:
I have had sewage coming up in my bath & toilet. The bathroom was a no go area cause it smelt terrible in there so me & kids were having to wash in kitchen sink. But after several hours the plumbers sorted out the problem & now everything is running clear but after cleaning the bath several times, soaking bleach in bath, scrubbing it, I still dont want to use it cause of the waste that has been in it. Have I got rid of all the germs or should I use something else to clean bath?

bleach is excellent for killing germs. if you’re still concerned try a little Lysol bath and tile cleaner. just rinse the tub really well afterwards.

If you washed it real well with the bleach that ought to do it. That is the best thing. I am sure you are germ free if you cleaned it so many times.

Go out to the store and get Powdered Comet, very cheap and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, I think they have one for the bathroom.
Also get a scrub brush and a pack of abrasive sponges and a toilet brush for each bathroom
Oh also get Lysol Power toilet bowl cleaner(blue)
These things are very good for getting out stains, keep using them until the stains come out:)
Good Luck

Get an Ozone air purifier. Preferably from a known and established dealer. The ozone part has to be adjustable to a heavy setting. If you then sanitize the bath for 1 hour, with all carpets and paper, etc out of the bath, it will be completely free of germs and bacteria. There’s tons of studies and mold remediation/construction companies use them all the time. ecoquest dot com slash gewininc You can email for more info there. I use it for mold and my bath every 4 months. Works great.
If you know someone that has one, ask if you can borrow it. You have to get a heavy bleachy smell or if it’s a Space-certified tech, it should be a bit diff smell. They work the best tho.
DO NOT stay in the bath while sanitising. ALL chemicals are extremely dangerous and HEAVY ozone can cause headaches and sore throats… as warning signs that it’s on too high a setting. There’s ozone everywhere outside and THAT’s a big reason there’s no bacteria/germs growing everywhere out there.
Good luck.

BTW- Bleach can really kill off more than germs! It’s a HAZMAT chemical that can kill your smell, and many other things in your body. The Ozone will diossapate quickly and you can open the windows to air it out if you want. I don’t.
